NOTE - Wally Wales - Hal Taliaferro - his real name Floyd Taliaferro Alderson was born in 1895 in Sheridan, Wyoming. He was raised on the family ranch in Rosebud County, Montana. He joined the army and fought in WWI. From 1921 through 1928 he appeared in over twenty silent films starring in many under the name Wally Wales. In 1929 he successfully made the transition to talking pictures. Later he started going by the name Hal Taliaferro appearing as a villain many times. IMPORTANT NOTE The design on Cash Horton's (William Desmond) back was originally intended as the traditional Native American sign called whirling logs. It can be seen on many cowboy saddles and gear from the late 1800's and was used by Natives for hundreds of years before it became a notorious insignia adapted by the Nazi Party in Germany. After WWII the use of it faded away because the Nazis had used it for such an evil logo. This classic movie production is from 1934.
