Gold

The miners are selling out at great prices, and their happy. Only problem is the villains buying the mines then murder the former owners and take the money back. It is up to Jack Tarrant to stop the evil and to make it more difficult he has been framed for the killings. There are some pretty magnificent stunts in this one now and then. Great action western. An interesting side note is that Jack Hoxie and Rex Bell seem to be riding the same freckled faced horse Sheik in the western films they do. From 1932 Early sound western and one of the few sound westerns that Jack made. An interesting note is this is Alice Day's last film. She had been in movies since 1923 and after GOLD she got married in 1930 so after GOLD she retired. Her and her husband had two sons. Starring Jack Hoxie as Jack Tarrant Alice Day as Marion Sellers Hooper Atchley as Kramer Matthew Betz as Henchman Childress Lafe McKee as Jeff Sellers Jack Clifford as Elmer Sigmuller Tom London as Sheriff Bob Kortman as Henchman Without Mustache John Lowell as Bartender
