This is a rare starring roll for Art. Art Mix was born George Washington Kesterson in 1896. Producer Victor Adamson gave George the Art Mix name counting on the fame of Tom Mix, and planning on marketing Art's pictures to exhibitors who perhaps could not afford Tom's films. This film starts out with a kids baseball game but quickly develops into a full blown classic be western. Young Henry Randolph is deep in debt to Slade from gambling. Slade is shot and now Henry is under suspicion. But did he really do the dastardly deed.
