Will Hutchin’s as the West’s mostly unlikely hero in Sugarfoot. An amiable drifter in search of adventure sarsaparilla soda, Tom Brewster (Hutchins) roams the West as he tangles with bank robbers, rustlers, swindlers, outlaws, arsonists, blackmailers and thieves, using words as his weapon but a gun if he has to. An offbeat Western with a lighthearted touch, Sugarfoot packed with action, humor and a stable full of future TV stars in their earliest roles, including Dorothy Provine. Will Hutchins starred in this Western originally airing from 1957 to 1961 Will Hutchins played the title character who wandered the west taking odd jobs to support himself while he studied law through a mail in correspondence school. Will Hutchins even though in his 80s is in great shape and is willing to work ! Will appears at film festivals and still does live stage acting. It is great to see. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching. This kind of mirrors Will Hutchins life! He has wandered the world taking odd jobs like being a clown in a circus in Australia. Starring Will Hutchins, Charles Fredericks, Don ‘Red’ Barry, Venetia Stevenson. Will credits the episode of the anthology series Conflict titled Stranger on the road with landing him the part of Sugarfoot.
