Romance on the Range
In this feature production Roy, Gabby and The Sons of the Pioneers all work on a ranch. Roy is the foreman. Gabby is the cook and The Sons of the Pioneers are the ranch hands. There are also some great badges in this action packed presentation, including Glenn Strange and Roy Bancroft. There are outlaws stealing out of the traps set by the ranch and Roy is out to stop the thievery. Ranch owner Joan Stuart lives in the east but comes west to investigate the trouble but does not reveal her identity. There is some great adventure, music and some very funny comedy in this production. Starring Roy Rogers, Gabby Hayes, The Sons of the Pioneers, Linda Hayes and of course Trigger.
Code of the Fearless
Is Ranger Fred Jamison really a part of Red Kane's gang? Red and his gang are the worst outlaws that ever rode and it really looks like Fred is riding with them. Fred Scott made quite a few westerns and this is a pretty good one. This film is from 1939. Starring Fred Scott, Claire Rochelle, John Merton, Walter McGrail, George Sherwood, Harry Harvey Sr., James 'Buddy' Kelly, Carl Mathews, Art Mix.
Rock River Renegades
This is a tangled one. The Range Busters are sent for to deal with an outlaw element, and the newspaper is spreading lies about The Range Busters saying they are really outlaws. So once again it's up to The Range Busters to stop the real villains and it's up to the boys to defeat the bad guys and set things straight. (INTERESTING NOTE - As an adult I have thought Elmer is really odd and silly and perhaps creepy. BUT considering these Range Busters adventures were really made for kids Elmer is a pretty good character when you consider some of children's programing these days. He is really not much different then the Muppets in movies when you think about it, so maybe Elmer is the first Muppet.) ANOTHER INTERESTING NOTE - Many may recognize Christine McIntyre who appeared as a blonde in many of the always classic Three Stooges short comedy films. This classic western film is from 1942.
