48 min

The Apache Kid is trying to go straight but others keep impersonating him and robbing stagecoaches. This Wild West adventure is full of twists and turns even a creepy old banker. This is a very early talking western from a poverty row studio. By the way these folks act you can tell they are all used to acting with over dramatics like on stage or in silent movies. But this is a fun one with a great fight scene at the end. We have remastered this film into higher definition and worked on noise reduction in the audio. From 1930 Early sound western. An interesting side note is later on in TV westerns Jack would often appear as an extra just a townsman. He was even an audience member in John Wayne and James Stewart's The Man who shot Liberty Valance. Clint Belmet and his friends are guiding a wagon train in the 1840s from Missouri to Oregon. Many personal lives and stories are involved along with the danger and adventure of traveling west. There is also an evil element that does not want to see the wagon train make it to their destination. Saddle up for another Great story from Zane Grey. Big adventure of epic action and romance. INTERESTING NOTE - Young Billy Lee looks a lot like a young Dickie Jones who would join Randolph Scott and Errol Flynn in the magnificent western adventure film Virginia City in 1940.
