A wonderfully preserved copy of this 1950 western film in our archives. The Sundowners complete Western Movie Full Length in Color. This movie stars Robert Preston, Robert Sterling, John Barrymore Jr. Jack Elam and Chill Wills. Filmed in Texas in Palo Duro Canyon this movie has some amazing scenery shown in wonderful Technicolor.

Tom and Pierre are hired to herd horses to the government remount station but there are greedy business men and outlaws out to get everything in the county. Good western but there is a bit of very silly comedy in this one. This production from 1942. Starring Tom Keene, Frank Yaconelli, Sugar Dawn, I. Stanford Jolley, Ed Cassidy, Jack Ingram, Steve Clark, Hope Blackwood (this is her only film appearance)
Sunset Range
A story of East and West. Gangsters travel west with a plan to retrieve stolen cash. Money is one thing but you don't mess with women in the west unless you want the wrath of every cowboy on the range brought down on top of you. Action and Comedy. Colorado Sundown
Released in 1952. Three people inherit a ranch. We quickly learn two of the people are nice and get along while the other puts on a face and is conniving to get rid of the other owners. This sets up a battle between good and evil. As always with a Rex Allen western there is fast paced action, adventure, good comedy and some GREAT music. Alias John Law
Stagecoaches are being robbed and The Kootney Kid's gang are the ones doing the dastardly deeds. John Clark gets finagled into wear a badge and riding after the villains only John Clark is not his real name. This one gets a bit involved and it's a wild ride. Lots of adventure here. There is some great action in this classic western. An interesting side note is that Bob Steele was born Robert Adrian Bradbury Jr. born in Portland, Oregon, into a vaudeville family. His parents were Robert North Bradbury and the former Nieta Quinn. He had a twin brother, Bill, also an actor. After years of touring, the family settled in Hollywood in the late 1910s, where his father soon found work in the movies, first as an actor, later as a director. By 1920, Robert Bradbury hired Bob and his twin, Bill, as juvenile leads for a series of adventure movies titled The Adventures of Bill and Bob. Steele attended Glendale High School, but left before graduation. We have remastered this film into higher definition. This Classic film is from 1935. Outlaws of Boulder Pass
This is another exciting Lone Rider film. The Bar X Ranch charges a high toll for the cattle to pass through on the way to the free grazing land. The villains in this tale of the old west are out to squeeze the ranchers out of their property and they don't mind doing a few killings along the way. But they never figured on a man like Lone Rider Tom Cameron getting involved. There are some of the best of the Heavies playing the bad guys in this classic. Lots of great action, adventure, romance, music and a bit of comedy in this classic film. INTERESTING NOTE - Al Fuzzy St. John started appearing in films in 1911. He was in many comedy films with some of the comedy icons of the silent era. This is where he started learning his great comedic timing, falls and tumbles. He appeared in over 350 films and was western sidekick to a whole corral of Cowboy stars. We have remastered this film into higher definition and cleaned up the noise in the audio a good bit and it sounds pretty good. From 1942. George did many of the Lone Rider series movies.
