Cookie Bullfincher and Roys Ranch hands get Roy caught up in the crooked goings on of Bill Regan and his henchmen, who are out to find the newly discovered silver strike near a ghost town. To add to all this Carol Martin posing as Carol Vanderpool arrives seeking to find out what is going on because she is suspicious of foul play. INTERESTING NOTES - This film was originally released in TRUCOLOR, but there is not an original color copy known. Although with modern technology a Trucolor type color could be added. Another interesting thing is Bob Livingstone is a bad guy in this one. ALSO - Make sure to hang around after the movie to hear another tall tale from George Gabby Hayes. In this feature production Roy, Gabby and The Sons of the Pioneers all work on a ranch. Roy is the foreman. Gabby is the cook and The Sons of the Pioneers are the ranch hands. There are also some great badges in this action packed presentation, including Glenn Strange and Roy Bancroft. There are outlaws stealing out of the traps set by the ranch and Roy is out to stop the thievery. Ranch owner Joan Stuart lives in the east but comes west to investigate the trouble but does not reveal her identity. A stagecoach company and a Pony express company are in competition with a route. This is purely a capitalist view between the two competitors. But a slimy duo of a business man and a lawyer are out to pit the two companies against each other. Fuzzy has more great comical stunts and gags in this action packed classic Billy Carson film.
