Wild Horse Phantom
A fantastic example of vintage Hollywood's ability of illusions presented to an audience, and it is just accepted in stride. One of the many motion picture reasons children and some adults alike in the 1940's and after believed the old west still existed in States like Texas and Arizona. This story of cowboys and gangsters opens up with a very modern scene. A prison break complete with electric spotlights, telephones, tommy guns and automobiles. But don't let the beginning of this feature throw you off the trail, it quickly travels to the wild west with fast horses and sixshooters. Billy and Fuzzy are out to find stolen cash a gang stashed before they were caught. So ride the trail with our heroes in a fantasy west and a time when every child at the movies wanted to grow up and become a western hero.
The Lone Avenger
Cal Weston returns to Mesa after a long absence. His father has been killed at his bank. The killing is ruled a suicide but Cal knows otherwise and sets out to find the murderer. Ken Maynard westerns always deliver action and this one is no exception. This classic western adventure film was released in 1933.
